Who we are
Twelve organisations from three continents are the founding members of the Bochumer Netzwerk Migrantenorganisationen e. V. (Bonem) – a diverse, multi-thematic and multi-lingual network. Our aim is to achieve full participation in society and urban life. We see ourselves as bridge builders and are committed to shaping Bochum’s future together and on an equal footing. Bonem e. V. is well networked in the city and the surrounding area. We work closely with other migrant organisations and religious institutions and offer special counselling for people affected by racism and discrimination.
What we offer
Our work focuses on anti-racism, anti-discrimination, education, work with children, young people, women and the elderly, culture, sport and the empowerment of migrant organisations. We offer tailored advice to help people solve their problems.
