Who we are
The Sinti Union Schleswig-Holstein is a self-organisation of Sinti, founded in 2017, which is primarily committed to making the history of the Sinti and Roma minority visible. Its work focuses on anti-racism, education (including history), counselling, empowerment, remembrance, research and networking. The work of the Sinti Union Schleswig-Holstein is feminist, intersectional and critical of racism and power. ANNOUNCEMENTS
Meeting with the State Commissioner for Asylum
6.2.2025
Doris Kratz-Hinrichsen, the State Commissioner for Refugee, Asylum and Immigration Matters, and her deputy Torsten Döring visited us recently.
It was a very constructive exchange about our work. A particular focus was on the continuing racism of the majority society. In this context, Dominik Laubinger (photo), a consultant critical of racism, presented our Anti-Racism Counselling Centre for all those affected by racism, which is funded by the Federal Government’s Anti-Racism Commissioner.
