KVMO e.V.

The Cologne Association of Migrant Organizations KVMO e.V. was founded in Cologne in 2020 as an association of migrant organizations. We are cross-origin, cross-cultural, non-partisan and non-denominational. The aim of the association is to bring together the migrant organizations in the administrative district of Cologne and to promote and intensify their work. The KVMO represents the interests of its members in public and initiates and encourages joint activities. The association strives for close cooperation with democratic organizations and institutions. In particular, we strive for this with schools as well as social, trade union and religious institutions, adult education centers and municipal institutions. Our work focuses on culture, tolerance, anti-discrimination, anti-racism, support for young people, women, the elderly and the disabled as well as family support, integration, education, sport, development cooperation, empowerment of migrant organizations and refugee work.
 

Our consultant has been working with refugees for more than ten years. As an intercultural trainer and diversity consultant, he has an open ear and heart for people from all communities who have experienced (multiple) discrimination. He is at the side of those affected both on the phone and in person.
