Here you will find local and inspiring approaches from the anti-racist work of all 13 supporting organizations of the weact project and allied civil society actors. The mentioned approaches are based on 8 categories, which act as focal points of the work within the counselling services. The following categories are particularly emphasized in the weact project: Health, Culture & Media, Housing, Education, Labor, Social Affairs, Racial Profiling.
Wohnen Statt Unterbringen – Reloaded is a cooperation project between the organisations Tür an Tür e. V. and ZAM e. V. At the centre of the project is the idea that all people should have access to suitable and affordable housing, regardless of their origin, legal status or economic situation.
The director of the Sinti Union Schleswig-Holstein e.V., Sinteza Kelly Laubinger, was rejected as a new member by a fitness centre because she belongs to a minority group. When Laubinger learned that this had happened to other Sinti at the same gym, the Sinti Union Schleswig-Holstein decided to make the racist incident public.
