Who we are
The Cologne Association of Migrant Organisations KVMO e.V. was founded in Cologne in 2020 as an association of migrant organisations. We are cross-origin, cross-cultural, non-partisan and non-denominational. The aim of the association is to bring together migrant organisations in the administrative district of Cologne and to promote and intensify their work. The KVMO represents the interests of its members in public and initiates and encourages joint activities. The association strives for close cooperation with democratic organisations and institutions. In particular, we strive for this with schools as well as social, trade union and religious organisations, adult education centres and municipal institutions. Our work focuses on culture, tolerance, anti-discrimination, anti-racism, support for young people, women, the elderly and the disabled as well as family support, integration, education, sport, development cooperation, empowerment of migrant organisations and refugee work.
